Da Vinci
In 2007 two new schools set for the theoretical program of secondary vocational education and the first stage of basic and advanced vocational VMBO: SG Nelson Mandela and SG Antoni GaudÃ. For upper elementary and middle-management vocational VMBO a separate upper school founded (the College of Vocational Education) who works closely with MBO (Regional College). The position of the W. J. SG Scroll Green within VMBO is unchanged.
In 1996, the Purmerend Comprehensive School was established as a joint venture between De Koog Mill, the Da Vinci College and the Jan van Egmond Lyceum. By partnering with a school three schools, came shortly thereafter expanded with the SG WJ Chlorophyll.
Since August 2007, the comprehensive school changed its name in Purmerend Purmerend schools. In that year, the pre-vocational secondary sections of the Da Vinci College, Jan van Egmond Lyceum and The Mill Koog merged into another set of secondary education.
